Todd Rothe

President

Todd Rothe took over as president of J.R. Jensen Construction Company in 2004. Under his leadership, Jensen has grown from less than $5 million in annual revenue to more than $25 million, ranking it among the largest and most successful contractors in the region. Todd has helped foster numerous improvements in Jensen’s culture that have led to excellence in safety, performance, and customer satisfaction.

After graduating from Hermantown High School, Todd earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration (finance) from the University of Minnesota Duluth. His construction career started at a small commercial contractor in Minneapolis before he moved on to become a field engineer and project controls analyst for Boldt Construction, and later a project manager for Lakehead Constructors. He currently serves as a trustee for the fringe benefit funds of the Ironworkers union, and he volunteers on boards and committees for several other local organizations.

Today, Todd’s primary business focus is to continually improve the business and enhance opportunities for Jensen and its employees while providing responsive, cost-effective service and industry-leading results for its clients.
